LIVESTOCK POLICY
SHIPPING DETAILS:
We suggest using Direct Airline over Courier due to possible weather events and shorter travel times. Ensuring that your livestock’s well-being is our first priority!
Shipments are sent to your closest courier (Fedex or Purolator) pick up location base on your address. If you would prefer a curbside delivery, you can request this at checkout. However, this will void any livestock guarantees due to cold season.

Note: Livestock guarantees only applies to online orders that have been shipped and delivered. Please contact us should you have any questions.
We guarantee that our livestock will arrive alive. If this isn’t the case and you’ve received a deceased coral, invert or fish, please follow these instructions…
Take a picture of the livestock in the bag and send the pic to SFonlinesales@shinyfish.ca within 12 hours of arrival. Do not remove the livestock from the bag as this may void the warranty.
LIVESTOCK NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY:
All Wrasses, anemone sp., starfish sp. (excluding bristlestars & serpent stars), urchin sp., nudibranch sp., all shrimp sp.
OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:
If you have received livestock that has arrived deceased, and you have been qualified for reimbursement, you will be issued a credit before taxes for a future purchase at Shiny Fish Ltd. This credit will not expire and can be used at anytime. Note: There are no returns or exchanges on any livestock purchases.
Please check your delivery address. Livestock guarantees are void if there’s an incorrect address provided.
Livestock is guaranteed if the package is signed for on it’s first delivery or picked up on the same day.
Refused or unsuccessful deliveries will void the guarantee. We are not liable if you are not available to receive your order.
If the packaging is damaged, please contact us at SFonlinesales@shinyfish.ca with pics of the package and a description of the damage. We will then work out the issue with the courier directly.
Shiny Fish Ltd delivers on Mondays to Thursdays Canada wide. We are closed most major holidays and will ship the following day after a holiday.
We use time stamps on deliveries to determine time of livestock deliveries.
Shipping costs cannot be refunded.
On occasion, we may ask you to ship back the deceased livestock. This however, is a special case scenario.
